Degree student dies after snake bite in Peddapalli
An 18-year-old degree student died after being bitten by a snake at her home in Roopnarayanpet, Odela mandal, Peddapalli district. A second-year student of Jyothiba Phule Residential School, Sultanabad, she had returned home for Diwali.
Peddapalli: A degree student Gurram Akshitha (18) died of snake bite in Roopnarayanpet of Odela mandal on Friday.
According to villagers, Akshitha, who is studying Degree second year in Jyothibha Phule Residential school, Sultanabad, came home for the Diwali festival. She stayed alone in the home while her parents went outside to attend agricultural works.
Akshitha was bitten by a snake while she was doing homework by sitting on a chair. When she raised an alarm, neighbors rushed to the spot and alerted parents. She breathed her last while being rushed to a hospital.
