Jagtial: A degree student Maru Siddartha Reddy was found hanging in Vempeta of Metpalli mandal on Monday.

According to the police, he hanged himself from the ceiling of the first floor his home and was found dead when family members came home in the evening.

Siddartha Reddy, who was studying in a private college in Hyderabad, came home a fortnight ago and did not return to college as he was reportedly not interested in studies.

As family members mounted pressure, he took the extreme step, police said. A case was registered and investigation is on.
