Delhi Public School: Annual Day reflects ‘seasons’ flavour
The annual school report was read by the headmistress Shukla Das Gupta, who brought out the department’s commitment to excellence.

A rainbow of colours rocked the floor as the pre-primary wing of Delhi Public School, Nacharam celebrated its virtual Annual Day “Myriad Moods of Nature” on February 8. This was an ode to the different seasons of the year — the sights and sounds that each particular season evoke, the school said.
The music for these dances was a mix of Indian classical Ragas, like Mohana, Shankarabharanam, Madhubanti and contemporary western beats. The occasion was graced with words of advice and appreciation by the chief guest Anoop Kumar, associate director in the Ministry of Electronics (Govt of India).
Earlier senior vice-principal Nandita Sunkara welcomed the audience and introduced the chief guest. The annual school report was read by the headmistress Shukla Das Gupta, who brought out the department’s commitment to excellence.
A soulful rendition by the choir group, singing the song, “Seasons of the Year” set the mood for the evening. The welcome dance on Raag Madhuvanti” associated with the seasons was presented by Nysha and Meenakshi.
The dance performances and the enthralling rainbow ramp walk by the pre primary children took the audience on a spectacular journey showcasing the moods of nature with a blend of cosmic tune and divine music. Principal Sunitha Rao encouragement and motivation helped the children and the teachers to give their best.
