Hyderabad: Delhi Public School, Nacharam organised a virtual assembly to mark Constitution Day. The Government of India declared November 26 as the Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India every year. This day is also known as National Law Day.
To mark this day, students highlighted and reiterated the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution and vowed to uphold the values.
An important part of the celebrations was the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution and reaffirming commitment to upholding it. Students made posters and videos on this occasion.
An activity was conducted where children made the lawyer’s collar (jabot ) and dressed up as lawyers. Teachers spoke about the values and fundamental principles of the Constitution. They shared a PowerPoint presentation to explain the enduring and invaluable rights and duties of citizens as envisioned by our founding fathers.
