Intramural: Sports for All 2021 was held at Delhi Public School Nacharam for a week. The sports event that commenced with the lighting of the lamp by school principal Sunitha Rao marked a divine dawning to the event followed by a word of honour taken by all the students of classes 3 to 8. The song performed by Mayuk of class V gave the event a joyous opening.
Delhi Public School has long deemed that sports plays a paramount role in the comprehensive development of students. We unflinchingly believe that sports is a colonnade in the holistic development of all students and the school has stood by this for a long period, the school said.
The complete participation and attendance was a joy to see. The teams took special care to ensure covid protocols are followed by participants. Although there was high competition, the esprit de corps among students kept the spirit of the sports high. Individual and group events were organized for the students of different houses- Topaz, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire.
