Students of DPS Nadergul have started incorporating ‘go green’ slogan in their lifestyle. What better way to celebrate an occasion than by gifting a green new life- a sapling!
Students are encouraged to nurture nature by donating and planting a sapling on their birthday instead of distributing chocolates. The sapling is planted in the school birthday garden and the name of the student is put up.
This initiative has helped the students develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment and engage with nature, the school said. For any school functions, guests coming to school are also presented with green saplings. Thus let’s go green to get our globe clean!
