Delhi Public School: Setting benchmark with singing talent

The student bands “Nadam” and “Blend in” presented their original musical compositions on the electronic stage.

Delhi Public School, Nacharam’s music fest “Talentino” 2021 organised recently was infused with music, melody and talent of both teachers and students. Music Maestro, Jaywanth Naidu was the guest of honour for the show.

The special programme was organised to celebrate “World Music Day”. It was conducted by the Secondary School on the Zoom online. Principal Sunitha Rao addressed the gathering apprising them about Talentino being one of the firsts of many more music events to come.


Vice-principal Surekha Nayani introduced the guest of honour, music maestro, Jaywanth Naidu the Creator of ‘Jaywant Guitar ‘. The maestro then enthralled the audience by playing a soulful piece.

The stage was then set for exclusive and soulful rendition by students and teachers alike. It started with a phenomenal performance by Ashni and Arin of class IX leaving the audience astonished with their powerful vocals and multi-linguistic abilities.

A tribute was paid to the late legendary singer S P Balasubraniam by music teacher Surya who sang the legend’s popular numbers. The student bands “Nadam” and “Blend in” presented their original musical compositions on the electronic stage.

School teachers Sireesha, Shourjya, Rama Devi, Rithika and Rashmi enchanted the audience through their singing talent. The culmination of the fest was a mellifluous song by head girl, Sanjana setting the atmosphere of pleasantness and ecstasy.

She sang the song which had won her the “Bala Gana Gandharvulu” competition held by 106.4 magic FM, recently. The event concluded with the address of vice-principal Surekha Nayani who commended the participants for setting the benchmark for exquisite music.
