The shades of red made tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful. ‘Red’ colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits.
National Education Policy 2020 focusses on colour recognition as a part of ECCE. Keeping this in mind teachers discussed the theme in circle time and linked it to all subjects. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity that helped children to sort out and classify objects based on colours thereby reinforcing cognitive skills.
The Pre-Primary team was involved in a variety of crafts activities as per their level. The kids enhanced their communication skills as they confidently participated in the “Show and Tell” activity in their classes describing the red object they displayed at home during online classes.
Principal, Dr. Sunita Rao had an eventful interactive session with preprimary students. She motivated them to think logically and anticipate rationally.
