DPS Nacharam: Emerging tennis player Shrivalli felicitated
Shrivalli won Women Hard Court National Championship held at the Tennis Project Gurugram last week and is the only player to win both the junior National Championship and Women (Senior) National Championship.

Delhi Public School, Nacharam hosted a felicitation ceremony for Shrivalli Rashmikaa B, Telangana State’s most happening tennis player on March 25 at the school premises. Shrivalli won Women Hard Court National Championship held at the Tennis Project Gurugram last week and is the only player to win both the junior National Championship and Women (Senior) National Championship.
She is the youngest player from Telangana to win Women National Tennis Championship. Presently she holds WTA Ranking Singles 1,100, WTA Ranking Doubles 1,456, All India Women Ranking 6 in under 18 Category (Juniors) and Highest ITF Juniors World Ranking is 245. Shrivalli Rashmikaa an alumnus of Delhi Public School Nacharam, started playing tennis from 2011, she won the gold medal in CBSE Inter School sports and games competition in the under 14 category in the year 2014-15 and also won in various inter-school competitions, at present she holds 245 ITF Juniors World ranking.
She is top second player from Telangana State. AITA All India ranking under 18 ranking is 11. Her strengths are her strong forehand, groundstrokes and strong powerful service. School chairman M Kommariah, Principal Sunitha S. Rao, Director Operational Excellence & Strategic Initiatives Murali Krishna, Sr. Vice Principal Nandita Sunkara congratulated Shrovalli on her win. The school has been a host to varied sporting events in no less than 16 disciplines at the inter school, inter-state and at national level, the school said in a statement.
