Teacher’s Day celebration at Delhi Public School, Nacharam was a two-day celebration. On the first day on September 3, the students celebrated their teachers and showcased their respect and appreciation towards them. Some highlights of the event include a virtual panel discussion between students who enacted the roles of the leaders of various levels of the schools, displaying pictures of the teaching fraternity in innovative ways, vibrant dance performances. School principal Sunitha Rao applauded the students for their efforts and for making the teachers feel indeed special.

On September 4, a common celebration was held for all the three branches of Delhi Public School Nacharam, Mahendra Hills and Nadergul. The pro-vice chairman of the three schools, M Komaraiah, extended greetings and commended the endeavours and accomplishments of the teachers who continued the unhindered process of teaching-learning on the virtual mode even during the time of the pandemic.

Chief operating officer, Yashasvi Malka, conveyed his wishes and encouraged the teachers to continue their good work. The main attractions of the celebration were a musical performance and a stand-up comedy. Malavika Anand, who is a phenomenal singer and a child prodigy, captivated all with her innate talent of singing. She voiced both classical and peppy songs in Telugu and Hindi. Vivek Muralidharan, who is a multi-lingual and methodical comic from Hyderabad, tickled our funny bones with anecdotes of his school life and affinity with subjects like Maths and English.
