DPS Nacharam: Talentino unleashes students’ hidden talent
The programme took a new turn this year with breakout sessions being created to represent various talents
Hyderabad: Delhi Public School, Nacharam organised a talent fest ‘Talentino’ on July 3 to explore the ocean of hidden talent in the new batch of class XI. The function commenced by lighting the lamp followed by a melodious song and a classical performance.
Addressing the virtual gathering principal Sunitha Rao went nostalgic while remembering the prominent alumni of the college and advised students to lay stress on dedication and discipline and polish their talent.
The huge success of Talentino the previous year served as an inspiration to carry on the legacy this year too. However, the programme took a new turn this year with breakout sessions being created to represent various talents, the school said. Students participated enthusiastically in various events and displayed their abilities magnificently. Further, they were given a chance to surf through various sessions of their choice and have a feast of the myriad of scintillating performances.
The fun-filled extravaganza offered classical, traditional and western performances in dance, music, and vocal. Students participated in face painting, art expressions, mimicry, Roleplays, debates, Rubik’s challenge, magic show.
Principal Sunitha Rao congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to hone their skills as these were essential for the development of the overall personality of students. The participants mesmerised the spectators with their distinctive performances.
Senior vice-principal Nandita Sunkara the initiator of this programme explained the reason behind organising the event was to nurture the intrinsic qualities of students and remove the fear of stage among them which helps in personality development too. The event was of great admiration and a prominent opportunity to watch young minds displaying their distinctive talents.
