Hyderabad: The students of class III of Delhi Public School, Nacharam observed World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims by paying their tributes to the victims of road accidents. They were introduced to road accident statistics through a video followed by a short powerpoint presentation which reiterated why we observe this day and remember the victims. Students were also shown a song that depicted the safety rules to follow on road to keep oneself safe.
Students showcased their talents by participating in the assembly and reiterating the importance of following safety rules. Facts about road accident victims which are barely known to children were made aware to all the students. The students were given an activity to make a road safety model, slogan writing and poster making. The programme was planned with the goal of inspiring kids to become future responsible citizens by teaching them how to be safe and mindful on the road.
