Hyderabad: Ducon Infratechnologies, a fossil fuel clean technologies company, will provide technology, flue-gas desulphurisation (FGD) for a 2×600 MW FGD package for Singareni Thermal Power Plant, Stage-I, Telangana.
This project was jointly bid by Ducon’s affiliate Ducon Technologies and an EPC organisation in India.
Ducon will provide its FGD execution expertise to the project from concept to commissioning. The anticipated value of the order for Ducon will be in the range of Rs 150-200 crore.
Ducon Infratechnologies was also declared the lowest bidder on two other NTPC FGD projects and is expecting to receive those orders soon.
Indian companies will spend an approximate $20 billion on fossil fuel clean technologies, greening of fossil fuels and green energy in view of India’s commitment on green energy, emission standards and strict regulatory mandates, a release said.
