EAGLE Force catches pan shop owner, worker for selling cigarettes to minors in Hyderabad
EAGLE Force personnel caught a pan shop owner and his worker for allegedly selling cigarettes to two minors at Old Bowenpally in Secunderabad. Police seized tobacco products worth around Rs 60,000 and handed the accused and material to Bowenpally police.

Hyderabad: The EAGLE Force Telangana police caught a pan shop owner and his worker for allegedly selling cigarettes to minors at Old Bowenpally in Secunderabad on Sunday
According to the police, acting on a tip off, the personnel made 22 visits to the area before catching two minors, aged 14 and 17, allegedly purchasing cigarettes from the shop on August 30. The incident was recorded on video as evidence.
Following the verification, the EAGLE Force team, along with Bowenpally police of the Malkajgiri Commissionerate, raided Limra Pan Mahal. The shop owner, Md. Yusuf Uddin Goury (65) and his (19), Md. Rehan Ali, were apprehended.
Police seized cigarettes and tobacco products of around 10 brands, including Marlboro, American, Classic, Edition Gold Flake and Chams Flake, valued at approximately Rs.60,000.
The apprehended persons and seized material were handed over to Bowenpally police for further legal action.
