Earth Day: Students of Delhi Public School pledge to protect nature
Kids were encouraged to follow earth hour daily to conserve electricity by switching off the electric lights and use natural light for an hour.

Earth Day was celebrated virtually by students class III of Delhi Public School, Nadergul on April 22. The event was a reminder for the students of their duties towards Mother Earth. A special assembly was conducted emphasizing the need to protect the earth and promote afforestation.
Kids sang songs on earth in the morning assembly and expressed their views. To spark interest in kids about gardening and enriching the environment, kids were asked to use empty bottles to plant seeds and herbs. They also took responsibility for managing the plants in and around their homes.
Kids were encouraged to follow earth hour daily to conserve electricity by switching off the electric lights and use natural light for an hour. Pledge was taken up by teachers as well as students to conserve nature and its resources.
