Education thrives through technology and adaptability: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, addressing the second convocation of Satavahana University, said education has evolved beyond chalk and board to embrace technology, experience, and adaptability. He emphasised continuous learning, integrity, and collaboration as keys to success in today’s world.
Karimnagar: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma said education was no longer confined to chalk and board and now breathed through technology, nurtured through experience, and thrived on adaptability. Digital learning had redefined how people learn, breaking barriers of geography, privilege, and opportunity, he said.
Stating that skill was the new strength, he said continuous learning was the soul of success, adding that every degree was a beginning and every failure a teacher clothed in humility.
He was delivering the convocation address at the second convocation of Satavahana University on Friday. Experiential education built not only intellect but also integrity, he said, adding that every project was a rehearsal in compassion, creativity, and contribution to society. Collaboration was the cornerstone of collective progress.
He said interdisciplinary learning revealed that true wisdom lay at the intersections where science meets emotion and ambition meets empathy. Commenting on the graduating students, the Governor said their journey proved that merit thrives in modest beginnings and perseverance is the greatest equaliser.
Earlier, 25 PhDs and 161 degrees were awarded.
