Hyderabad: Towards enhancing Spanish language education in India, the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi, and the Embassy of Spain, New Delhi, in collaboration with the International Centre for Spanish Language, University of Salamanca.
The MoA was signed by Prof. Lakshmi Haribandi, Vice Chancellor (in-charge) EFLU, and Dr. Maria Gil Burmann, Director of Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi.
As part of this partnership, the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies at EFLU is organizing a comprehensive Teacher Training Program till January 31.
The training program is poised to provide an enriching experience for participants, bringing together expertise from renowned faculty members of the University of Salamanca, EFLU, and Instituto Cervantes.
The resource persons for the program include Dr. Maria Llorente and Dr. Carmen from Spain, who will share their extensive knowledge and innovative teaching methodologies.
The participants comprise a diverse group of students, faculty, research scholars, and teachers from EFLU and various parts of India.
