Eight nabbed in Hyderabad’s Rachakonda for selling plots with forging documents
Eight members of a land fraud gang were arrested by Rachakonda police for creating fake documents and selling plots in Hyderabad’s suburbs by posing as genuine owners. The accused also manipulated civil litigation to legitimise their claims over disputed properties.

Hyderabad: Eight members of a 19-member gang involved in creating fake documents and creating civil litigation were nabbed by the Rachakonda Special Operations Team along with the Keesara police.
According to the police, the gang was preparing fake documents pertaining to plots in different areas of Rachakonda and creating civil litigation.
“The gang identified open plots in suburbs of the city with the help of some people and obtained an encumbrance certificate to check the details of ownership. Later they prepared fake documents of the land with the help of some people and sold the plot to buyers posing as genuine owners of the property,” said Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, G Sudheer Babu.
The gang was involved in several cases in Rachakonda commissionerate.
