Emerging technologies like quantum computing and HPC set to transform startups and enterprises

Experts at a programme hosted by VNR VJIET said emerging technologies such as quantum computing and high-performance computing will drive innovation and reshape startups and enterprises, urging professionals and entrepreneurs to upgrade skills to remain competitive in the evolving digital landscape.

Hyderabad: Emerging technologies such as Quantum Computing and High-Performance Computing (HPC) will play a transformative role in shaping the future of startups and enterprises, experts said at an event held at VNR VJIET here.

The VNR VJIET, in collaboration with the NI-MSME , organised a five-day Advanced Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (AD-ESDP) with the theme “The Power of Quantum & High-Performance Computing (HPC): Transforming Startups & Enterprises.”

The event was conducted to equip students, researchers, faculty members, and aspiring entrepreneurs with insights into how emerging technologies can drive innovation and create new entrepreneurial opportunities.

Bank of America AVP – Cybersecurity Vajapeyajula Srinivas highlighted the growing importance of cybersecurity, quantum computing, and high-performance computing in the evolving technology landscape. He noted that as digital ecosystems become more complex, professionals and entrepreneurs must continuously upgrade their skills to remain competitive and leverage these technologies for enterprise transformation.

VNR VJIET principal Dr. B. Chennakesava Rao said collaborations between academic institutions and national organisations such as ni-msme are essential to nurture innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
