FCI invites paper on ‘construction of godowns’

The best six entries will be asked to explain their work for selection of winners and the FCI will preserve them for future reference, the FCI said on Sunday.

Hyderabad: As a part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations, the Food Corporation of India, Regional Office Hyderabad, has invited technical paper presentations on the topic ‘Latest techniques in the construction of godowns’ from students pursuing engineering.

The presentation should be a maximum of 10 A-4 pages and substantiated with relevant images/graphical representations. The best six entries will be asked to explain their work for selection of winners and the FCI will preserve them for future reference, the FCI said on Sunday.


A cash prize of Rs 3,000 and a certificate will be presented to the first prize winner, while Rs 2,000 and a certificate will be awarded to second prize winner. The third prize winner will receive Rs 1,000 and a certificate, while three consolation prizes will be presented with Rs 500 each and a certificate.

Interested candidates can send their presentations along with a photocopy of their latest ID card issued by the college to the AGM (PR) FCI, R.O, 3rd Floor HACA Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad – 500004 by August 21. Candidates can also submit their presentations through email at dgmrtg.fci@gov.in.
