Fisherman drowns after falling off boat in Warangal
The victim, Indla Kumaraswamy accidentally fell into the net after the raft capsized and died after getting entangled in the net
Warangal: A fisherman died when he fell into his fishing net, got entangled and drowned in the tank at Mondrai village in the district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Indla Kumaraswamy (38) of Mondrai village in Sangem mandal. He was fishing in the Eluguru Rangampeta tank on Friday morning when he accidentally fell into the net after the raft capsized and died after getting entangled in the net. His body was retrieved by fellow fishermen.
It is learnt that the incident happened due to strong winds. Kumaraswamy is survived by his wife, son and daughter. Sangem police reached the spot and shifted the body to the MGM Hospital, Warangal, for autopsy.
