Food distributed to Hamalis in Karimnagar
Free meal distribution programme organised by Purushotham and Kondaiah on behalf of Rajya Sabha MP Joginipalli Santhosh Kumar
Karimnagar: Offering food to the needy is the greatest of all gifts, said Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao. He was speaking after distributing food to Hamalis while participating in a free meal distribution programme organised by Purushotham and Kondaiah on behalf of Rajya Sabha MP Joginipalli Santhosh Kumar at Karimnagar agriculture market yard on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor thanked Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar for taking up the initiative and serving the hungry during the lockdown. Sunil Rao said people were strictly following the lockdown imposed by the State government.
Market committee Chairperson Eluka Anitha Anjaiah and market yard officials participated in the programme.
