Former minister R. Damodar Reddy passes away at 73

Senior Congress leader and former minister Ramareddy Damodar Reddy passed away at the age of 73 at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. A five-time MLA from Nalgonda district, he had represented Tungaturthi and Suryapet constituencies and served as IT Minister during YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s tenure.

Hyderabad: Veteran Congress leader and former minister Ramareddy Damodar Reddy, a five-time MLA from Nalgonda district breathed his last earlier today at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. He was 73. Reddy, who was battling health issues for several months, succumbed to his illness despite medical efforts, according to sources close to the family.
