Former Table Tennis administrator Sultan remembered

Hyderabad: A condolence meeting in memory of late SM Sultan, who passed away on October 31 after his fight against Covid-19, was held at the Anand Nagar Welfare Association Sports Academy (AWASA) on Friday.

Telangana State Table Tennis Association president A Narasimha Reddy, Secretary P Prakash Raju and secretary A Narasimha Rao along with other officials attended the condolence meet.


Sultan was the former secretary of the United Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association. He died at the age of 60 after his fight against the virus. A week before his death, Sultan’s mother also died of coronavirus while his wife Lubnav Moosavi too succumbed to the disease.

Sultan continued to be the secretary of AP Table Tennis Association after the formation of Telangana State and is also the vice president of the AP Olympic Association.
