Hyderabad: Four members of a gang involved in black marketing of Amphotericin injections were caught by the Rachakonda Police on Tuesday. Five vials of the injection along with Rs. 20,990, a car and mobile phones were seized from them.

Those caught were identified as MS Venkateshwarlu, M Rama Krishna, L Maheshwar Reddy, and Chennu Ramu while two others, C Mahalaxmi and P Naveen, were absconding.

The gang was using social media, especially Instagram to sell the injection, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said.
