Four members of inter-state house burglary gang arrested in Adilabad
Adilabad police arrested four members of an inter-state burglary gang from Maharashtra for allegedly targeting locked houses in Telangana and Maharashtra. Police recovered 36 grams of gold and 25 tolas of silver ornaments, with CCTV footage helping crack the case

Adilabad: Four members of an inter-state gang were arrested on charges of stealing gold and silver ornaments in Mavala on Monday. Police seized 36 grams of gold and 25 tolas of silver ornaments from them.
Briefing mediapersons about the arrests, SP Akhil Mahajan said Shinde Sunil, Kumre Sujal, Marjive Shekhar and Gaikwad Laxman, all from Wardha and Bhandara districts of Maharashtra, were apprehended with the help of CCTV camera footage.
During interrogation, the four confessed to targeting locked houses in different parts of Maharashtra and Telangana. They revealed that they had stolen gold and silver ornaments after breaking into a house in Adarshanagar in Adilabad town on January 18.
Sunil and Shekhar were involved in eight and three offences respectively in the past. Adilabad DSP L Jeevan Reddy, Mavala Inspector BD Prem Kumar, SI Rajashekhar Reddy and others were present.
