Four senior cops to monitor lockdown bandobast in Hyderabad
City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said overall monitoring of the lockdown situation was to ensure that peace and law and order is maintained.
Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has appointed four senior officials to monitor the lockdown bandobast in the city for the next 10 days.
Shikha Goel, Additional Commissioner (Crimes and SIT) was made in-charge of East Zone, while Anil Kumar, Additional Commissioner (Traffic) is in-charge of West and Central Zones. DS Chauhan, Additional Commissioner (Law and Order) is the in-charge of South Zone and Avinash Mohanty, Joint Commissioner (Detective Department), is in charge of North Zone.
The Commissioner said overall monitoring of the lockdown situation was to ensure that peace and law and order is maintained.
He is visiting important and sensitive areas in the city to supervise lockdown arrangements.
