Ghanpur MLA Dr Rajaiah to provide health cards for TRS party members
Jangaon: TRS MLA from Station Ghanpur Thatikonda Rajaiah has announced that he would issue health cards to those who join the party to get discounts on medical services at his hospital.
Rajaiah, a doctor by profession who owns ‘Dr Rajaiah Multi Speciality Hospital’ in Hanamkonda, said that he will also provide free ambulance facility to party members in his constituency in case of emergency. “While we will give discount of 20 per cent on all types of surgeries at our hospital to TRS party members from my constituency, 30 per cent discount will be given to them on diagnostic tests including blood and urine tests, X-Ray and scanning of different types. The hospital will also give 50 per cent discount on delivery charge to women who give birth to a male child and 100 per cent to those who give birth to a female child,” he said, adding that he would issue the health cards to the party workers and their family members and they can avail the benefits by producing the card at the hospital.
“I am going to take up ‘Health Tour’ in my constituency from February 22 to 28 to enroll people as members of the TRS party,” he said. It may be added here that the people can join the TRS by paying Rs 30 for general membership and Rs 100 for active membership and avail of accident insurance coverage and the ‘Health Card’. The party membership will remain in force for two years from 2021-23, Rajaiah, a former Health Minister, added.
