GHMC Polls: Rachakonda Commissioner inspects arrangements
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat visited different counting centres set up under the commissionerate limits and personally monitored the security arrangements.
Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat inspected the arrangements for the counting of GHMC polls in divisions that fall under the commissionerate.
Accompanied by senior officials, Bhagwat visited different counting centres set up under the commissionerate limits and personally monitored the security arrangements. He also visited the Hayathnagar counting centre and interacted with the police personnel deployed as part of bandobast.
In all, 8152 personnel are engaged in the counting exercise and 31 observers are monitoring the proceedings.
Out of 74,67,256 votes in GHMC, 34,50,331 votes have been polled. The first round of counting is already on in most divisions.
