GHMC polls: TRSV president confident of TRS’ victory in Old Malakpet

Hyderabad: TRSV State president and party Old Malakpet election in-charge Gellu Srinivas Yadav said the TRS party will unfurl its pink flag in Old Malakpet municipal division in the ensuing GHMC elections. On Saturday, Srinivas Yadav kick-started the election campaign along with party candidate Pagilla Shalini in the division.
Akbhar Bagh division TRS in-charge and Karimnagar District Grandhalaya Samstha chairman Enugu Ravinder Reddy along with TRS leaders and scores of party workers took part in the campaign. The welfare and development programmes of the TRS would ensure the party’s win the civic body polls, he said.
The pension schemes and financial assistance through Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak and other welfare programmes are benefitting people a lot. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is bringing cheer in the lives of backward communities and minorities, he added.
Later, Srinivas Yadav welcomed several youngsters into the party fold.
