Gitanjali Devashray: Making web access safe and secure for students

Gitanjali Devashray conducted an Experts Speak session for their students, the very first session for the academic year 2021-22, virtually on March 31. The topic of discussion was a very pertinent one – Bully to Buddy version 2.0.
Tanushree Sangma , an expressive arts-based therapist and psychologist at the Department of Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences conducted the workshop for the students of grades VI and VII. She spoke extensively on the essential subject of cyberbullying.
In the present circumstances where the usage of the internet by students is at an all-time high, this session was the need of the hour.
Sangma delved into the root cause of this problem and prescribed various safety measures to students that will keep them safe and secure while accessing the web. The webinar was followed by a brief Q/A session in which the insightful questions put forth by the pupils were answered with alacrity.
Having a keen insight and hands-on approach towards the trials faced by students in these technological times and bolstering them in every way possible is crucial for us, the school said.
