To inculcate healthy life practices, improve focus on physical and mental strength and to make children emotionally strong, the pre-primary wing of Gitanjali Devshala celebrated Yoga Day and World Music Day on June 21.
The toddlers performed different poses of yoga like the tree pose, triangle pose, face yoga, animal poses, pranayam, meditation and breathing exercises. It was a treat to watch the little ones laugh plenty with laughter therapy, meditate impishly with half closed eyes and do all the asanas with concentration.
The tiny tots then enriched themselves and learnt about the different music instruments. They also took to the stage with their live musical performance using different instruments. Some created their own music using things in their home. Some of them performed jal tarang and filled the air with the symphony. The double energies of Music and Yoga were taken in with the celebrations.
