GMREIS launches integrated health monitoring command centre for Telangana residential schools
The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society has set up a 24/7 Integrated Health Monitoring Command and Control Centre in Hyderabad, featuring a dedicated helpline, medical teams, food safety surveillance, and a mobile app connecting all 205 minority residential schools.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS) on Friday launched an Integrated Health Monitoring Command and Control Centre at its Head Office in Nampally, Hyderabad.
The Command Centre, which was inaugurated Mohammed Faheem Qureshi, Vice Chairman and president of TGMREIS, has a round-the-clock dedicated helpline, will launch initiatives related to mental health, food safety and hygiene, emergency response teams with qualified MBBS doctors, trained tele counsellors, nurses, food hygienists, clinical psychologists, paramedical staff, Pharmacy & an ambulance stationed at the centre for round-the-clock health delivery.
Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), noted voluntary organization in the field of health, has been onboarded as the resource partner for managing the operations of the Command Centre.

“Our top priority is to eliminate health and hygiene challenges faced by residential schools. This model places equal emphasis on physical and mental health, food safety, and emergency care, thereby creating a safe and nurturing environment for our students,” said , B. Shafiullah, Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare Department, and TGMREIS.
A health monitoring mobile application with seamless access to all 205 schools, administrators, doctors and counsellors will be the part of the Integrated Health Monitoring Command and Control Centre. The app will provide real time data on the health of all institutions and students to the Head Office.
A qualified Food Hygienist will conduct regular surveillance checks across all schools, provide structured training for kitchen staff and wardens to enhance their capacity in food safety practices, and periodically monitor and assess their progress.
A dedicated ambulance along with an emergency response team composed of doctors and paramedics will be stationed at the Command-and-Control Centre for rapid emergencies arising at the schools. the press release added.
