Gold ornaments stolen from woman at Jogipet bus station
Unidentified miscreants stole a bag containing 16 tolas of gold ornaments from a woman at Jogipet bus station while she was boarding a Hyderabad-bound bus. The victim was travelling to attend her niece’s wedding. Police are checking CCTV footage
Sangareddy: Unidentified miscreants stole a bag containing 16 tolas of gold ornaments from a woman while she was boarding a Hyderabad-bound bus at Jogipet bus station on Thursday.
The victim, Cheguri Lakshmi, a native of Alladurg, was boarding the bus along with another woman when the incident occurred. As they were travelling to Hyderabad to attend the wedding of Lakshmi’s niece, they were carrying the gold ornaments in the bag.
The police registered a case and are examining CCTV footage from the bus station to identify the suspects.
