Golden jubilee celebrations begin at ISKCON Abids

The ISKCON temple at Abids, Hyderabad, launched its four-day golden jubilee celebrations with a Sudarshana Homam on Saturday. A tribute performance dedicated to Srila Prabhupada, along with a drama and sand art presentation, captivated audiences at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.

Hyderabad: The four-day golden jubilee celebrations at Sri Radha Madan Mohan Mandir at the ISKCON temple in Abids began with Sudarshan Homam here on Saturday. The priests performed the “Sudarshan Homam”, amid slogans of Hare Krishna.

A tribute performance of Srila Prabhupada “Yadi Prabhupada Na Hoito” was organised at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, which stole the hearts of the audience. The other two events – a drama titled “Mercy Around the Globe” and a sand art presentation – impressed the audience. The golden jubilee celebrations will continue at Exhibition Grounds up to August 18.
