The ISKCON temple at Abids, Hyderabad, launched its four-day golden jubilee celebrations with a Sudarshana Homam on Saturday. A tribute performance dedicated to Srila Prabhupada, along with a drama and sand art presentation, captivated audiences at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Abids, has lined up a series of cultural and devotional programmes to mark the Golden Jubilee of Sri Radha Madan Mohan Mandir.
ISKCON Hyderabad will celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Radha Madanmohan Mandir at Abids with four days of religious and cultural programmes from August 15 to 18. The celebrations will include special rituals, discourses, cultural events and the distribution of over five lakh plates of prasadam.
Hyderabad’s Birla Mandir will celebrate its Golden Jubilee from February 24 with special pujas, cultural events and a Shobha Yatra. A new lift facility has also been installed to improve access for elderly and differently abled devotees.
Birla Mandir has completed polishing works on its main tower, the Jagadananda Vimanam, as part of a major restoration ahead of its Golden Jubilee in 2026. More gopuram works are underway, with all renovations set to finish by January 2026
