Golden Jubilee of ISKCON Abids temple to be marked with cultural events from Aug 15

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Abids, has lined up a series of cultural and devotional programmes to mark the Golden Jubilee of Sri Radha Madan Mohan Mandir.

Hyderabad: All arrangements have been made by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Abids, to celebrate ‘Golden Jubilee’ celebrations marking the completion of 50 years of Sri Radha Madan Mohan Mandir at Abids and Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.

On August 15, a bhajan session with an international band, a Srila Prabhupada tribute performance, Yadi Prabhupada Na Hoito, a drama, Mercy Around the Globe, a sand art presentation, and the launch of 50th anniversary commemorative celebrations will be held at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.

On August 16, the launch of a coffee table book on ‘Srila Prabhupada’s life & legacy in Hyderabad, and a vision presentation of ISKCON, Abids Hyderabad on ‘What’s Next after 50’ will be held at the exhibition grounds.

On August 17, a 108 mridanga performance and drama on ‘Srila Prabhupada Magic’ and a panel discussion will be held.

On August 18, a grand Shobha Yatra (starting from ISKCON, Abids) at 4.30 pm will be held, along with a performance by the great grand-daughter of popular sweet maker G Pulla Reddy on ‘Tarangam: Sri Krishna Leela Tharanagam’, a special commemorative plaque ceremony honouring unsung heroes of the last 50 years, and a drone show at 8.45 pm at the exhibition grounds.

All programmes are scheduled between 4 pm and 9 pm at the exhibition grounds.
