Goutam Reddy was unresponsive on arrival: Apollo Hospitals

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Industries and IT Minister M Goutam Reddy was brought to Apollo Hospital Jubilee Hills in an emergency, the hospital said in a bulletin released on Monday morning.

He had collapsed suddenly at home and was brought to hospital ER at 7. 45 am. The bulletin said he “was unresponsive, not breathing and in cardiac arrest on arrival. He received immediate CPR and advanced cardiac life support in our emergency department.”

The emergency medicine team and specialists including cardiologists and critical care doctors have attended to him. “CPR was done for more than 90mins. Despite our best efforts he could not be revived,” the bulletin from Apollo Hospitals said.

He was declared to have died at 9:16am on Monday morning.
