Govt committed to the uplift of the poor: Narsampet MLA
Speaking on the occasion, Peddi Sudarshan Reddy said many poor people are reaping the benefits of the welfare schemes implemented by the State government
Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy distributing Kalyana Laksmi/Shaadi Mubarak cheques at his camp office here on Saturday.
Narsampet: Stating that the TRS government is striving for the uplift of the poor and downtrodden, Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy said that many BPL (Below Poverty Line) families had become APL (Above Poverty Line) families since the formation of the Telangana State.
He was speaking after distributing Kalyana Laksmi/Shaadi Mubarak cheques worth Rs 5.4 crore to 504 beneficiaries belonging to BC, SC, and ST communities and Rs 16.77 lakh worth cheques from Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) to 55 beneficiaries at his camp office here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said many poor people are reaping the benefits of the welfare schemes implemented by the State government. “The Telangana government had made its mark in the country with its unique welfare, agriculture and irrigation schemes,” the MLA said. Tahsildars of six mandals in Narsampet constituency and others attended the programme.
