Mulugu: The State government under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is striving to strengthen the government healthcare system by upgrading the hospitals, providing additional facilities and diagnostic centres besides its plans to set up medical and nursing colleges, said Tribal, Women and Child Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod.

“While a total of 57 tests are being done at this diagnostic centre, soon all heart related tests will also be available at this centre,” Satyavathi said and added that the spread of the novel coronavirus had been contained due to concerted efforts of the State government. She also appreciated District Collector S Krishna Aditya, District  Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Dr Allam Appaiah and other officials for their efforts to check the spread of the COVID-19 in the district.

Mahabubabad MP Maloth Kavitha said that establishment of the T-Diagnostic Centre in district is a great boon for the people, who are mainly the tribals.
