GSTAT Appeals Outreach Programme held to help taxpayers meet June 30 Appeal deadline
The FTCCI and ICMAI hosted a crucial GSTAT outreach programme in Hyderabad to guide over 150 tax professionals and MSMEs on filing appeals before the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal ahead of the impending June 30 deadline

Hyderabad: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), in association with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), organised a GSTAT Appeals Outreach Programme to create awareness among taxpayers and professionals on filing appeals before the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) ahead of the June 30 deadline.
The programme witnessed participation of over 150 chartered accountants, cost accountants, company secretaries, advocates, tax consultants, MSMEs, industry representatives, GST practitioners, finance professionals, and business executives.
K. K. Maheshwari, Senior Vice President, FTCCI, noted the operationalisation of GSTAT marks a significant milestone in India’s indirect tax administration by providing an effective and dedicated forum for speedy resolution of GST disputes.
Justice Dr. Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, President, GSTAT, New Delhi and Vivek S Chandel, Project Consultant, GSTAT – NIC participated virtually and the technical session was presided over by Sushil Kumar Sharma, Judicial Member & Vice President, GSTAT Hyderabad, A.P. Ravi, Judicial Member, GSTAT Hyderabad and D.K. Srinivas, Technical Member, GSTAT Hyderabad.
