DPS Mahendra Hills in its pursuit of providing a global cultural perspective to students organised the Halloween party. Halloween is a time of celebration and fun. This day marks the end of summer, the harvest and the beginning of winter. Students from Pre Primary to class 8 enjoyed being part of the event. The school was decked up with Halloween-themed decorations. The atmosphere was vibrant as the children were dressed in their scariest best. They enjoyed making Halloween crafts, playing games and dancing to the tunes of Halloween songs.
Teachers shared the tradition and history of Halloween during the event. It was a treat for the eyes to see them enjoying. The event actually encouraged the students to appreciate differences in cultures and customs and develop mutual respect. Our diversity is something worth celebrating. It was heartening to see the young students gather, participate in, and enjoy all these special occasions together and growing up as global citizens, the school said in a statement.
