Harish Rao lambasts Congress government over salary delays for home guards
"They have no choice but to take loans just to make ends meet, while bank officials pressure them over EMI payments. Is this how those who serve the public should be treated?" he asked. Accusing the Revanth Reddy government of negligence, he asserted that salary delays had become a regular occurrence under Congress rule.

Hyderabad: Former Minister and BRS MLA T Harish Rao on Tuesday lashed out at the Congress government for failing to pay salaries to over 16,000 home guards, even 12 days into the month.
Terming the situation shameful, Harish Rao pointed to the severe financial distress faced by home guards, who were struggling to pay house rent, school fees, and daily expenses.
“They are being forced to take loans just to survive. Bank officials are harassing them for EMI payments. Is this the fate of those who serve the public?” he questioned.
Charging the Revanth Reddy government with negligence, he stated that salary delays had become routine under the Congress rule.
“This is not a government for the people but one against them. While schemes are being slashed, employees are left unpaid,” he said, demanding an immediate resolution to the crisis.
