Hyderabad: A healthy lifestyle is a way of living that lowers the risk of being seriously ill. Not all diseases can be prevented, but, a large proportion of deaths can be avoided. Health is about physical, mental and social wellbeing. These are the ways we can follow healthy living-Daily exercise can help to become agile and flexible.

Healthy food is extremely important to fight diseases, build bones and muscle strength and repairs damaged cells in the body. A balanced diet keeps a check on the protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and fat consumed every day. It is important as it helps to control the consumption of each type of food.


Periodic health checkups help as a preventive measure to identify the reality of one’s health and what necessary actions one need to take.

Clean and Hygienic living space to ensure that no harmful organism enter our body. This should be strictly followed when small babies are around. Drink water to flush out toxins from our stomach and the digestive system.

Timely sleep helps us to rejuvenate our body (repair damaged cells) and gives rest to our body. Reduce screen time to prevent eye and brain problems. Have hobbies such as music, gardening etc., to vent out emotions and also to relieve stress. So, healthy living is paramount for our life and increases our lifespan and it directly contributes to reducing diseases. Mahatma Gandhi rightly said “Health is Wealth.” Together we can make it happen.
