The surge in traffic was attributed to the widespread celebrations of Dussera, a major festival that saw a large number of individuals traveling to and from various destinations. Hydraa teams and traffic cops jointly monitored the situation closely to ensure smooth transit for all road users.
The Hydraa and HMWSSB deployed their teams to clear blocked drains and assist stranded commuters.
Heavy rain dampens city park activity
On Sundays, all major parks, including KBR Park, Jalagam Vengalrao Park, Krishna Kanth Park, KLN Yadav Park, and parks located in the residential colonies, in the city, usually witnessed hundreds of morning walkers and yoga practitioners, but due to heavy downpour, a low turnout was seen. The walkers’ number was confined to double digits only.
