Hyderabad: Breaking his silence over his son Naga Chaitanya’s separation with Samantha, Nagarjuna Akkineni on Saturday put up a note on his twitter page terming the event as unfortunate.

It was a heartbreaking news for millions of fans when both star couple confirmed their separation in the afternoon with a simple note on social media platforms.

Nagarjuna’s post reads, “With a heavy heart, let me say this. Whatever happened between Sam and Chay is very unfortunate. What happens between a wife and husband is very personal. Sam and Chay are dear to me. My family will always cherish the moments that we spent with Sam and she will always be dear to us. May God bless them both with strength (sic).”
