Hyderabad: Hexagon Capability Center India (HCCI), the product development unit of the technology major Hexagon AB in partnership with NASSCOM Foundation, has donated four high-quality ventilator systems worth Rs. 45 lakh to Mahavir Hospital and Research Centre.
The four high-end ventilators are expected to treat at least 130 patients in the coming year, according to a press release. The turbine-driven, wall gas independent ventilator setups donated are of premium build quality and have been carefully chosen to withstand the test of time.
The HCCI has already donated 11 ICU beds to manage the surge of Covid infections at Gandhi Hospital. The company’s ESR (Employee Social Responsibility) team also provided medical equipment to Area Hospital in Siddipet.
“It’s a small give-back to the society that supports our talent and infrastructure,” Ballav Mundra, CFO, Hexagon Capability Center India, said. Chairman of Bhagwan Mahavir Memorial Trust, Mahendera Ranka appreciated the gesture from HCCI and thanked them for the crucial contribution.
