Huzurabad ready to teach a lesson to Eatala, say TRSV leaders
Referring to Eatala's comments that he had sacrificed his posts several times for the cause of separate Telangana, the TRSV leaders wanted him to prove his strength by getting re-elected from the constituency
Karimnagar: TRS youth wing leaders from the Huzurabad constituency dared former Minister and local MLA Eatala Rajender to resign and get reelected to the Assembly in the by-poll.
Referring to Rajender’s comments that he had sacrificed his posts several times for the cause of separate Telangana, the TRSV leaders wanted him to prove his strength by getting re-elected from the constituency. People are ready to teach a befitting lesson to him, they said while speaking to reporters in Huzurabad on Saturday.
As part of the agitation for a separate State, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had nurtured many into political leaders and Rajender was one among them. The long-standing dream of the people of Telangana had materialised only because of the sacrifice of students and youth besides the hard work of Chandrashekhar Rao. Rajender had done nothing for the agitation, they said.
Rajender, who won as MLA on the image of Chandrashekhar Rao, hatched a conspiracy against the latter while continuing in the party, they alleged. Reacting to Rajender’s comments on welfare schemes, they said commenting on programmes intended for the welfare of the downtrodden was nothing but humiliation of those sections.
The former Minister, who played the BC card for his political growth, had done nothing for the development of BC communities. Moreover, he occupied assigned lands allocated to poor Dalits, the leaders alleged, adding that he should be ashamed to criticise the Chief Minister after meeting opposition leaders on the pretext of self-respect.
TRS youth wing leaders Mulugu Purnachander, Samala Rajireddy, Patharaveni Anil and others were present.
