Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board vigilance wing booked cases against 44 people on Friday for taking illegal connections from water board pipelines.

While one case was filed against 43 people at the Vanasthalipuram Police Station, a case against one person was filed in Adibatla Police Station.

HMWS&SB in a press release said that those coming across illegal water connections or domestic water connections being used for commercial purposes should inform the Board vigilance officials by dialing 9989998100 or 9989992268.
