Hyderabad auto driver ends life after mother’s death
A 27-year-old auto driver allegedly died by suicide in Mailardevpally after reportedly struggling to cope with the death of his mother two months ago. Police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident after receiving information from local residents
Hyderabad: A 27-year-old auto driver allegedly died by suicide after reportedly being unable to cope with the death of his mother in Mailardevpally on Wednesday.
According to police, the victim, identified as Komura Reddy, a resident of Markandeya Nagar, had been upset since his mother passed away nearly two months ago.
Family members said he had also developed a drinking habit following the tragedy.
Early on Wednesday morning, he allegedly hanged himself at his residence.
On receiving information, the Mailardevpally police reached the spot and took up an investigation.
A case was registered.
